⭐️ DILL – Fresh, freeze dried, or dried will work. Brings an airy, complimentary punch to the fish.

⭐️ OLD BAY SEASONING – Old bay is a seasoning blend that can be found at the grocery store that is used for seafood. You may substitute this for paprika and celery salt, or omit altogether.

TIP #1: Let the cream cheese come to room temperature before combining all the ingredients.

TIP #2: If you are using leftover cooked salmon, adjust the seasonings accordingly if your salmon was already seasoned.

HOW TO MAKE SALMON PATE


This is a very easy recipe that only has 2 steps!

STEP 1: Prepare salmon.


Whether you are using canned salmon or cooked salmon, ensure that all moisture has been removed from the salmon. If you are starting this recipe with raw salmon, bake in the oven or air fry at 400F for 15-20 minutes, or until salmon reaches an internal temperature of 125F.

STEP 2: Combine ingredients and mix well.

Once all the ingredients are combined, do a taste test and add more seasonings if desired. The salmon pate can be chilled in the refrigerator overnight or served immediately.

STEP 3: Serve pate.


The pate can be served cold or warm. If you choose to serve warm, put it in the oven or a toaster oven for 350F for 10-15 minutes. Avoid warming the dip for too long as this will start cooking the ingredients.

Store in an air-tight container for up to 7 days. The salmon pate can be served cold.

👉 HOW CAN I COOK THESE IN THE OVEN?

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz salmon, canned or cooked
  • 1 tablespoon avocado mayonnaise
  • 8 oz cream cheese,
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp old bay seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Prepare salmon. If you are using canned salmon, drain well and remove all moisture. If you are using cooked salmon, use a fork to flake up the cooked salmon in a small bowl.
  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine salmon, cream cheese, avocado mayonnaise, dried dill, and old bay seasoning. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
